This Christmas Conrad and I decided to get an Xbox series S since Conrad can get the game pass free from work. So we would only have to pay for the console and controllers. We ordered it on Amazon but it wouldn’t get here until after Christmas. On the eve before Christmas Eve, Conrad took my sister to Fred Meyer to get a few things for her room and saw they had the Xbox we wanted there. He secretly called me to see if I could cancel the Amazon order and we could! So I told him to buy it. My sister was shocked to be bringing home an Xbox when they just went to the store for a few things. It was pretty exciting for everyone.
We found out the Xbox even has a few little kids games where you basically just have to push a couple buttons. So Christmas Eve and Christmas Day everyone had fun playing Xbox together.
Christmas Eve Elfie brought the girls pre-made Christmas cookie dough to make cookies for Santa. Millie loved putting them on the tray and baking them “all by herself” (with a little help putting them in the oven and taking them out).
The girls loved all their presents. Although they got tired of unwrapping about halfway through and we had to help them a little. Lol. We are thinking of getting big sacks to put gifts in instead of wrapping everything next year.
We had air-fried Arby’s curly fries and Conrad’s hamburgers for Christmas dinner and it was so freaking delicious. Plus it is much easier than a traditional meal and let us spend more time together.
The day after Christmas it snowed a lot for Washington! Charlee gets cold really easily so it was good we built a fire to burn all the wrapping paper and Amazon boxes.
It was a great Christmas! We had so much fun playing together.
