So I am very behind on posting these so I’ll add the date for this week is November 1st-7th. I didn’t really do a theme for this week. We just had fun learning and going on a field trip to Fort Casey on Whidbey Island! Get ready for another post of mostly pictures. Maybe set your phone down and let them load while you grab a snack. Lol. Here we go!

We have these cool toy locks and keys. The locks have uppercase letters and the keys have the lowercase and she has to match them. She is starting to get it. I’m not pushing for her to learn letters at all right now but casually including them in play.

In music class they listen to the Nutcracker March and Millie absolutely loved it, we listened to it a dozen times. Then I told her there was more and more and we listened to the whole suite. She really liked it. Then we got comfy and watched Barbie in the Nutcracker. When we were in Lowe’s and she saw the big nutcracker she wanted to set up a little scene and take a picture with it.
Ok now onto the exciting part. We went up to Fort Casey on Friday. When we got out of the car we saw a bald eagle fly over us with a small animal in its claws. It was so majestic and powerful. I loose my crap every time I see a bald eagle.

I love love love love lighthouses. I hope to see all of the lighthouses in Washington. It so special to have pictures with the girls and lighthouses. Even if my hair is a mess.

We also stopped at a little museum called the Pacific North West Naval Air Museum. It was mostly things to read and we had the kids so it was a short stop.
Overall the trip was so fun! We stopped for KFC on the way home and the girls watched movies. I love my family and I love the PNW. It’s amazing to watch my little girls discover it 🥰
Desma, GrandBob would have so enjoyed your jaunt! He always found some new place to take us, and it was always a blast! Love the photos!!!
